This historic image, depicted a technician in a Bangladesh laboratory, who was in the process of creating smallpox vaccine, and was in the process of injecting embryonated chicken eggs with viral particles. This photograph was taken by Dr. Stan Foster, EIS, Officer, Class of 1962, while he was part of the worldwide Global Smallpox Eradication Campaign of the late 1960s, early 1970s.
