Description: Caption:
This 2000 image depicted a universally designed, under the counter dishwasher that was being loaded by a standing, seemingly unimpaired woman. Alternate locations and installations, for many appliances, may work better for many people. This woman was reaching into a shallow, drawer style dishwasher that had been mounted just beneath the counter, next to the kitchen sink. This reduced the amount of bending and reaching that was necessary, in order to load this appliance.
