Description:This United States Air Force poster was used to remind servicemen fighting abroad during World War II that venereal disease is not just a local concern, but that VD can be found “wherever you go…”
This was one of the numerous public health posters from the World War II that warned soldiers against contracting venereal diseases. This use of images, rather than just text, was an extremely powerful tool in the fight against the spread of V.D. not only among the military, but in the United States as well.
