The Excellence in Learning Council (ELC) provides guidance and operational direction to workforce and career development programs across CDC. Modeled after the Excellence in Science Committee, the Council ensures that strategic workforce activities, including educational training, are of the highest quality, and are aligned with agency-wide goals. The target audience includes not only CDC staff, but also the rest of the nation’s public health workforce.
