This 2004 photograph showed Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) chemist, Madhulika Chaudhary-Webb, preparing a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) instrument, in order to analyze the concentrations of vitamin A, in a serum sample. She was using the rapid method of analysis, in the Personal Care Products Laboratory (PCPL), located in a CDC facility on the organization’s Chamblee, Georgia campus.
