Description:This patient presented with a late congenital syphilitic infection, exhibiting interstitial corneal keratitis.
This patient’s congenital syphilitic disease resulted in the onset of interstitial keratitis, an inflammation of the connective tissue structure of the cornea. Syphilis is the most common cause for this condition.
