Description:These were epidemiologic field investigators photographed during a 1975 Marburg virus investigation in Wankie, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe).
This team set up several of these trapping nets during a massive Marburg virus investigation throughout Rhodesia. Several species trapped at this location were preserved in dry ice for virus isolation. However, later testing showed no signs of the virus.
