This image depicts an anteroposterior (AP) x-ray of a 28-year-old woman’s chest, who had presented with congestive heart failure, which was secondary to her chronic hypertension, or high blood pressure. Note the presence of an enlarged cardiac silhouette. You are also able to appreciate the fluid accumulation in both lungs, known as pulmonary congestion.
