This photograph depicts a close view of a patient’s perianal region, and reveals a granulomatous lesion, due to a case of Donovanosis, also known as granuloma inguinale, and is caused by the bacterium, Klebsiella granulomatis, formerly Calymmatobacterium granulomatis.
