This photograph of a patient’s abdomen, revealed the presence of numerous red, elevated lesions due to a case of psoriasis, a common skin disorder that is chronic in nature, and is marked by a scaling dermatosis. Psoriasis can range in severity or distribution, from just a few spots on the body, to large areas of cutaneous involvement.
