This photomicrograph reveals ultrastructural details exhibited by a parasitic Trichostrongylus sp. nematode. The Trichostrongylus spp. eggs are elongated, and range in size from 75µm-95µm X 40µm-50µm. The eggs resemble that of hookworms, but this species is larger, and its ends exhibit a more pointed shape.
