Description:Here a Constantine bat trap (wire collector) was placed within a cave for collecting bats during a 1974 arbovirus study.
These studies of vertebrates are important in order to control arthropod-borne viruses such as arboviruses, for animals, like humans, can be infected with an arbovirus by mosquitoes, and other blood-feeding arthropod virus vectors.
