This is an anterior view of the face of a Myotis lucifugus, or little brown bat, found in Trenton, New Jersey. M. lucifugus is a member of the family Vespertilionidae, and is prevalent throughout North America. These mammals seldom become aggressive when rabid, and therefore, rarely transmit rabies to humans.
