Captured in 1969, this photograph shows you the appearance of the facial rash of a chickenpox patient, during the day-3 of the illness. This patient with chickenpox started developing a rash three days prior to posing for this photograph. From the appearance of the rash on his face, it is difficult to diagnose between smallpox and chickenpox.
