This image depicts a posterior view of a patient’s left elbow region, which exhibited an abnormal skin condition, confirmed as psoriasis of the arm. Psoriasis is an erythematous skin condition characterized by irregular red patches, covered by a dry, scaly, hyperkeratotic stratum corneum, which usually occur on the elbows and knees, as well as scalp and lower back, but can occur anywhere on the body.
