Description:Note the histopathologic changes seen in paracoccidioidomycosis. A P. brasiliensis conidium is visible at center.
This is the only etiological agent for the disease paracoccidioidomycosis. Paracoccidioides brasiliensis is geographically restricted to areas of South and Central America.
