This image from 1969, depicts a child, who’d developed a generally distributed maculopapular rash, with accompanying epidermal necrolysis, after having received a primary smallpox vaccination. Note the characteristic scalded skin rash over the infant’s lower back, indicative of epidermal necrolysis.
