Caption:
This photomicrograph of a lactophenol cotton blue stained specimen revealed some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by a fungal organism of the genus, Cladosporium. Members of the genus Cladosporium are causative agents of skin lesions, keratitis, onychomycosis, sinusitis and pulmonary infections. The branching chains, and the spherical-shaped spores are common characteristics which identify this species.
