On the far left stood the Chief of Laboratory at the Institut Pasteur, Léon Le Minor, to his immediate left stood an unidentified female attendee. In the middle stood, microbiologist, Ephraim Saul Anderson of the Central Public Health Lab of London, and to his immediate left was another female attendee, while to her left stood William Howell Ewing of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Enteric Section.
