Under a magnification of 1000X, this photomicrograph of a tissue sample harvested from a tortoise, designated #3, revealed some of the histopathology in a case of pulmonary mycosis, caused by what was thought to be a fungal organism of the former genus, Spicaria, which is now an obsolete genus designation.
