Under a high magnification of 24,000X, this photomicrograph revealed some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by an unidentified fungal organism, which had been isolated from a brain abscess found in the brain of a turkey poult, and grown on this slide culture specimen. Here, you are looking at a septate hyphal filament, from which flask-shaped conidiophores had sprouted perpendicularly, each giving rise to one or two, clavate conidia.
