Under a magnification of 1200X, this photomicrograph highlighted some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by the fungal organism, Trichophyton ajelloi, formerly known as Keratinomyces ajelloi, focusing here, on one of the organism’s hyphal filaments, from which three microconidia were sprouting in a perpendicular fashion.
