This illustration depicts a cyclical diagram, show you in a simplistic manner, the three components involved in the transfer of a viral pathogen between a arthropodal host, to a human recipient. Here, the arthropodal host is a mosquito, and the viral pathogens, are either the Dengue virus, or the yellow fever virus. Either one may be transferred to a human being, by way of the mosquito’s bite.
