This image depicted a frontal view of a slant agar culture tube, which contained an unidentified growth medium, that had been inoculated with the fungal organism, Trichophyton gourvilii Catanei, that had originated in the North African country of Algeria. The culture gave rise to three colonies, exhibiting a glabrous, and slightly heaped morphology, and a velvety texture.
