The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC), Central America Regional (CAR) Office, in Guatemala, is a key implementer of the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and has partnered with the region’s ministries of health, to build a sustainable, high-impact national HIV response program.
