This was a photomicrograph of a slide specimen, which included both Entamoeba coli, and Iodamoeba bütschlii (buetschlii) organisms. In this view, it was suspected that an I. bütschlii amoeba was being observed. Note that the organism was undergoing the process of nuclear division, and that you are able to observe the creation of two distinct nuclear centers, representing daughter nuclear material.
