This historic image from 1965, depicted a scene that was commonly encountered in the area of Atlanta, Georgia known as Buckhead. This was a view of the facilities occupied by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), at the time known as the Communicable Disease Center, that had been located at 255 E. Paces Ferry Road. This was a view of the Paces Ferry side of the facility.
