In this September 2019 photo, travelers in the Congolese city of Goma filed through the Petite Barriere, the border crossing between the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Rwanda. Preventing the spread of Ebola virus disease across borders, is one of the main tasks for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) responders, helping Congolese authorities battle the outbreak that began in August 2018.
