Here, in this August 2019 image, screeners use an infrared thermometer to look for signs of fever in travelers in Mubambiro, near the city of Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). A fever is one of the symptoms of Ebola virus disease, which Congolese and international health agencies have been battling for a year in the DRC.
