This image depicted a frontal view of a Petri dish culture plate, which had contained a Sabouraud dextrose agar growth medium that had been inoculated with a fungal organism of the genus, Aureobasidium. After having undergone a 16-day incubation period, the culture gave rise to this single, large colony, which displayed a central, darkly-colored region, surrounded by a beige periphery.
