This 2016 image, captured in the wake of Haiti’s 2010 earthquake, and entitled, Door to Door household survey in Artibonite, Haiti, depicted team lead Wilson Salomon, and water collector Elgard Charlestin, as they were walking door to door, conducting a household WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) assessment, while in the Artibonite department of Haiti. The team was asking residents questions about their household water collection practices, and tested the microbiological quality of collected water samples. The aim of the survey was to assess progress in WASH programs, and rate the access to safe drinking water in Artibonite.
