Description: Caption:
This staff member of the Center for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ), which is located in Lusaka, Zambia, was bringing blood samples to the laboratory for HIV testing. The sample collection was part of a President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (PEPFAR-CDC)-funded partnership that supports HIV testing for more than 100,000 people each year, the vast majority of whom are reached through home-based HIV testing, in both urban communities, and remote, poorly accessible rural areas.
