Captured in 2016, this image depicted a Strategic National Stockpile staff member, carrying a green and white satchel, or a Zika Prevention Kit (ZPK), which contained items used in preventing the transmission of the Zika virus, both from mosquitoes to humans, and through human-to-human contact. The ZPKs included insect repellent, larvicides, mosquito netting, condoms to prevent sexual transmission of Zika, and educational materials.

CDC personnel assembled and delivered approximately 31,000 ZPKs throughout U.S. territories. For more on the Strategic National Stockpile, please visit the link below.
