The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) alerts travelers with health advisories displayed at U.S. international airports across the country. Travelers can see these advisories, while waiting in line at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security check point, before their departure, or at passport control, or baggage claim, when they arrive into the United States, or U.S. territories. These stands were displaying Zika health advisory posters, about to be distributed throughout San Juan, Puerto Rico’s, Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. Slots were included, in order to hold flyers containing more detailed information for travelers. The picture, captured by CDC staffer, Carolina Luna-Pinto, was an entry in the 2016 CDC Connects, Public Health in Action Photo Contest, in the category of Programs - International.
