Caption:
This anterior view of a man’s face, revealed cutaneous lesions of the upper and lower lips, indicated by areas of scaly skin, and overlying hair loss. It was determined that these lesions, also referred to as tinea corporis, had been the result of a dermatophytic infection, brought on by the fungal organism, Trichophyton mentagrophytes.
