Under a magnification of 500X, this photomicrograph of a section of pituitary gland tissue, revealed the presence of cytomegalic inclusion cells, also referred to as owl-eye inclusion cells, in a case of cytomegalic inclusion disease, caused by the cytomegalovirus.
