ID#: 22072
Under a magnification of 19X, this photomicrograph revealed histopathologic details exhibited by a tissue sample that had been extracted from the eye of a female lymphoma patient with a cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection. PHIL images 22070, and 22071, captured at higher magnifications, allow you to see the presence of intracellular inclusions, both nuclear and cytoplasmic, as well as cytoplasmic and nuclear enlargement. Also very important, was an area of progressing retinal detachment (PHIL 22071).
