Under a magnification of 480X, this photomicrograph of a hematoxylin-eosin (H&E)-stained tissue section, revealed histopathologic changes associated with a case of coccidioidomycosis, also known as valley fever. In this view, a number of sporangia could be seen inside the confines of a lymph node.
