Caption:
Under a magnification of 2100X, this photomicrograph revealed morphologic details exhibited by four macroconidia of the fungal organism, Arthroderma incurvatum, formerly known as Nannizzia incurvata. Also present in this view, were numbers of filamentous hyphae. Note that the end of each macroconidium attached to its hyphal-like conidiophore, was tapered, while its distal end was rounded, or blunt in shape.
