Description:Caption:
Under a very low magnification of 10X, this image depicted a close view of a Petri dish culture plate that contained a growth medium of brain heart infusion (BHI) agar, which had been inoculated with Bifidobacterium eriksonii, formerly Actinomyces eriksonii bacteria. After having undergone a 7-day incubation period, this culture gave rise to these translucent yellow bacterial colonies.
