This entomologist was seated at his desk, in the process of plotting out the results gathered from the ovitraps placed in the field, used to trap mosquitoes, and their deposited eggs. In this instance, Aedes aegypti species mosquitoes were the focus of this study. Here, he was entering data on a field plan, indicating the geographic locations of those ovitraps that had returned positive results, or in other words, contained adult Ae. aegypti mosquitoes, and their eggs.
