This Petri dish culture plate contained a Müller-Hinton agar medium, which had been inoculated with Legionella pneumophila bacteria, and allowed to incubate for a 6-day period. To the medium, additional constituents had been added, including 1% hemoglobin, and 1% IsoVitaleX™ enrichment supplement. Note the characteristic gray-white, and textured cut-glass colonial morphology.
