Description:Photographed on the campus of one of the many metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia primary schools, these young school children were being safely escorted to their classrooms by one of their teachers, after having just been dropped off here at this parental drop-off point. When it was time for the parents, or guardians to pick these children up at the end of the school day, a teacher would safely escort them back to this rendezvous point.
“Keep children safe. While our nation's schools are expected to be and usually are safe havens for learning, unintentional injuries and even violence can occur, disrupting the educational process and negatively affecting the school and surrounding community.” “Parents, students, educators, and community members can all take action to keep children safe—in and away from school.”
