This image highlights the left arm of an infant, who born deceased, due to a genetic disorder known as osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) congenita, formerly osteogenesis imperfecta tarda, which has also been referred to as Ekman-Lobstein syndrome, Vrolik syndrome, and glass-bone disease. In this case, the infant’s arm deformity was due to the extremity’s skeletal abnormalities, which are characteristically associated with OI.
