This photograph was taken in the West African nation of Nigeria, in the country’s largest city of Lagos, and depicts what was known as The Old Isolation Ward, which had been labeled “Ward B”, used to house male patients infected with the Ebola virus. See PHIL 17722 and 17729, for images showing the interior of a new, more modern isolation ward, implemented during the 2014, Ebola outbreak across Guinea, northern Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria.
