This 1976 photograph depicts a multiracial group of women and children, who were residents of a housing project, that had lined up at a mobile clinic, and were waiting for their vaccinations. The scene also contained a doctor, who was administering the injections, and a seated nurse, registering the children through parental participation. This scenario had been located in a hypothetical Dixon Tiller County, U.S.A., and was used as a teaching aid regarding the prevention of vaccine preventable diseases.
