This image depicts a close view if a patient’s perineum, revealing numbers of perianal cutaneous outgrowths, which turned out to be a case of condylomata acuminata (CA), or venereal warts. CA is the epidermal manifestation of an epidermotropic human papilloma virus (HPV) infection. The most commonly affected areas are the penis, vulva, vagina, cervix, perineum, and perianal area.
