This photograph was one of a series of images highlighting the Native American Diabetes Wellness Program’s Eagle Books Exhibit at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Public Health Library and Information Center (PHLIC). The exhibit was hosted during the summer and fall of 2013. The photograph depicted (L-R) an image of Georgia Perez and family; a paperback copy of Through the Eyes of the Eagle, by Georgia Perez, illustrated by Patrick Rolo and Lisa Fifield; a quote by Mr. Eagle, an illustration of "Rain that Dances", one of the main characters in the Eagle Books; some illustrations by Patrick Rolo; a photograph of Patrick Rolo and Lisa Fifield, the illustrators of the Eagle Books; a newspaper article featured in the publication, The Circle, Native American News and Arts, entitled Books for a New Year: Creating Artwork for a National Diabetes Prevention Book Project, December 2005, v. 26, i. 12.
