Prepared using the secondary (indirect) immunofluorescence staining technique, this photomicrograph, viewed using fluorescent microscopy, revealed the presence of flagellated, Giardia lamblia parasitic organisms. However, when a test was run implementing a 1:16 serum dilution, for the presence of appropriate immunoglobulins, that test returned negative results.
