Under a magnification of 675X, this photomicrograph revealed the presence of an Entamoeba histolytica trophozoite (black arrowhead) containing ingested red blood cells (RBCs), a diamond-shaped Charcot–Leyden crystal, and two white blood cells (WBCs) known as eosinophils (white arrowhead).
